Monthly Meow LIII

Hey guys! For this month’s Monthly Meow, we’re going to do some housekeeping!

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, Webs has been going down more often than usual these past few weeks and was down for the better part of two days last week. The gathering has been pushed back to next week, to give the leaders a chance to set everything up. As well the StarClan and Dark Forest threads will be open until November 3rd. The Halloween art trade will continue as planned, with all pieces due on Halloween. If you’re ever curious about whether Webs is down or if it’s just your computer, you can check the Facebook page Webs Cares.

While Webs is back up now, the timed out error has returned. If you get an error message reading “Your request timed out. Please retry the request” and fear that your post has been deleted, don’t worry. If you hit the back button and scroll down, your post should still be there and you can try posting it again. If you have any other trouble, you can ask members if they’ve found a work around on the home page chat box and report the problem to Webs on the help forums.

The clan counts are where they should be for the current plot (MoonClan 110, NightClan 97, DawnClan 85, and SunClan 97). I plan on doing another clan demographics Monthly Meow in November or December, so if you have anything you’d like me to focus on then that I haven’t in the past, please message me!

The calendar’s been looking rather bare lately; if you have a birthday in the next few months and would like it to be posted, please message me with the date.

Some of the newer members might not know this, but there is a skype group for members of this roleplay. It’s just a fun place to talk with other members on the site about what is going on here on the site and just chat with each other about things unrelated to the roleplay. Most conversations are over text, but periodic voice calls are held for members who’d like to join in. If you’d like to join, private message me your skype name, I’ll add you to my contacts and then to the group as soon as I get the chance. All out of character rules of this website also apply to the skype chat.

Over the past week I’ve stumbled across a few roleplays that have stolen content from this website, usually from our home page. If you ever see anything that looks copied from here, please report it to me. As well, if you want to make a spin-off website or incorporate some ideas from this website into your own roleplay, please contact me so we can make the sites official affiliates and make sure everyone’s work is respected.

A while back, one of the naming guides I’d linked to on the Helpful Links section was removed by its host forum. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a suitable replacement. If you know of a good naming guide, please message me the link. As well, I’m always open to adding more links to the Helpful Links section, so if you know of any other good warrior cats or roleplaying references, don’t hesitate to share them with me.

An anonymous member survey will be posted around Thanksgiving, but in the meantime, if you have any ideas on how to improve the website, don’t hesitate to ask me. The vast majority of features that make this site functional were user submitted ideas, including the history page, adoption system, landmark maps, and a slew of rules. I do seriously consider every suggestion I get receive and you’ll never get in trouble for giving me feedback, even criticism.
