Hey guys! I've mentioned it a few times in the past week, but I figured I should make an actual announcement. I’ll be without internet from Sunday the 7th until Saturday the 13th. I will not be able to check the site at all during this time. While I am gone I expect you guys to continue as you would with me here, Sunkenskull and Dawnstar will be taking care of the site while I am gone. Dawnstar will be tending the pages, both will be enforcing the rules and doing their normal administrator stuff. Those two lovely ladies also have my permission to use any of my characters as needed. If Dawnstar is still having computer issues Sunkenskull will take over both the pages and all the site owner work (sorry, Sunken 📷 ) so please be nice to her, it’s a lot of work to take alone. Of course, if I come back and find that you guys have been giving her a hard time…
The gathering this month has been canceled due to the fact that only one leader and one deputy can attend, but ceremonies should take place as normal by Sunkenskull -or Dawnstar, if she can- when they need to be done. The dates are all listed in the last MM. If you have any questions concerning when kits are due or anything ask Sunkenskull, I’m sending her all my records and stuff. I’ve noticed that some people are forgetting to add characters to the guestbook, especially kits. Be sure that you have all of your characters posted so they can be added to the pages!
Quick update on the issue we are having with the pages timing out. Apparently, the fix is to use Firefox, but if you’re anything like me, you prefer internet explorer or google chrome and won’t want to change your browser. So, just refresh the page until webs cleans up the mess. Here’s a thread on their support page that I started http://support.webs.com/webs/topics/posts_timing_out . It is a very widespread issue and webs is trying to fix it, but it may take a while. As for the pages all suddenly giving us the familiar and dreaded “Hmm, Let's try that again...we apologize for the inconvenience…” message very fequently, it’s probably just webs hiccupping again and will probably return to normal in a few days.
